Falling Vs. Being in Love”

You don’t know
What love is
Until you face
Each dawn
With sleepless eyes
Until you’ve lost
A love
You hate to lose

Love is complicated
Finding that special someone
Who with every gesture tells you
Someone loves you

Sometimes you don’t feel the same
Fall in love at different speeds
Gesture by small gesture over years
Or it rushes along in weeks
Days
Love is always different
The same feelings arrive at different times
Everybody is different

You don’t always love them
In that moment
Sometimes you need more time
To fall in love with someone
Who knows how to love you
Without being told
To become the insecurity that unveils your heart

Love is totally unexpected
Pleasing the senses aesthetically

But your love is whole
You develop and become strong
You are like
A rose in blossom
Passion awakens
Desire finding
New things

Falling in love
Is the pleasure of potential
Feeling love blossom
Like an anthesis rose
