There is a house in my neighborhood that has been slowly renovated over the last 2 years and it finally went on sale in July. I watched the process with interest from the start and somehow the house became a metaphor for my life. I had an incredibly difficult year around the time the home remodel project started. Over the last 2 years I have done pretty much all of the 6 things you mention in this post (except maybe the work life balance one…I haven’t got that quite nailed yet…but then does anyone really get that right all the time?!). It wasn’t intentional but circumstances kinda nudged me in that direction. All of that “ life remodelling” has really paid off! I feel so much more open to whatever life has in store for me now, and even my friends are commenting on the changes they see…and yes, there is even a guy in the picture now that my “remodelling efforts” are winding down, but even if there wasn’t…it would still be worth the effort! I only wish I had the opportunity to be more intentional about this…and not wait for very challenging circumstances to kick start the process. So girlfriends, if you can…it’s so worth investing in yourself…and what better time to start than now!

During this crazy year. I still wondering why are you still single? You give such great advice . I noticed your advice on ET I watch it every night. I just recently started thinking about dating after being single for sometime and wising a teenage son. I tried the dating application a while back but I really did not like the dating thing . I am an introvert and have no problem being a lone but I dont know how to date during a pandemic? I have been single for years and had no desire.I live in Las Vegas and used to livw in LA, so because I am getting older my family in Europe said fon’t rnd up like your Mother and be alone, since my cousin said that it sure made me think about my life and how yo make a change.By the way my mother died 2 years ago and sorry to admit I have not been the same since.
